MesoMat is looking for ambitious co-op students to support our R&D program! We seek students who are ambitious, enthusiastic, willing to learn, and happy to work in a team environment. Roles and responsibilities are dynamic and can change rapidly, but as a software co-op student you will be involved in aspects of the following:- Programming in various languages for back-end and front-end development- Design and develop new features in our software platforms which extract, analyze and display sensor signals- Processes that support the overall software development lifecycle, such as tasks related to technology exploration for improving solution components, quality assurance and software stewardship- Have a direct impact on the software product MesoMat delivers to its customers- Collaborate with members of our R&D team to plan and coordinate feasibility and delivery of future workQualifications:- Ideal candidates will have a background in software engineering or computer science- Strong problem-solving skills and a penchant for creative thinking- Demonstrated ability to work well in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment- Experience with object-oriented programming and multi-tiered application architectures (e.g. data, logic and presentation tiers)- Must be available for a minimum of an 8 month term (longer terms are welcome and encouraged)- Previous experience with JavaScript and React is an asset- Strong knowledge of SQL databases and queries an assetEmail your resume and transcript to jobs@mesomat.com
